Feliz Navidad!

Anita caught the Christmas bug from Houston, bringing back the christmas cheer Mexican style!

She also bought me this cool baking pan which can be configured into any alphabet or number so she chose the word "JOY" to celebrate this year. So I draped chilli lights haphazardly on the prickly cactus cake.

Meican Santa :)

Another long night but whipped up these maracas in a jiffy at the last minute and sprayed them rose gold with rolled and painted details.

MY new favourie flavour: lemon cupcake with tangy cream cheese topped with fluffy coconut *sigh, yum, sigh*

Nutcracker!

Anita built a beautiful Christmas town including a train set in her home in Singapore this year so I thought since Ma didnt have one in Klang and she was throwing a big party back home, I decided to make her one :) But an edible one of course...

So the Christmas tree was made of cupcakes and the nutcrakers were perched on my mum's delicious fruitcake which I painted on to look like brick tunnels.

Little Elves waiting for Santa.... I used desicated coconut to create the snow.

Individual cupcakes arranged on a cone foam ready to be savoured.

I secured this christmas stocking on a wire (since no one would eat it) and stuck it onto the foam.

These Nutcrackers took ages to make especially since every tiny detail was looked into, right down to the boot laces including silver their eyelets. Thank goodness I had many expert elves with excellent eyesight and steady hands to help me. The red one is my favourite :)

Each brick and rail track, was hand painted.... even the wheel and train was given an antique finish with paint.

Almost done, just waiting for the tree..

Thanks for ALL that hard work Audrey and Anita (who just headed up to bed at 11am after an all nighter when this picture was taken)...after about 12 hours work non stop! mind you I had spent 10 hours in Singapore making the bulk on the figurines and cupcake toppings with Lilia a day ahead.

Zach entertaining us while we were all zonked out working in the kitchen.

All dressed up for the party... after about 2 hours sleep *haha*....

I love my mum's TALL Ikea tree! and so does Zach xox

Getting into the spirit of Christmas...

Red robins and Mistletoe to get us in the Christmas mood.

Anita makes the most amazing trifle, this is her black cherry and sherry one...

Dishing out the delight!

We're just so happy to have wonderful family and friends to celebrate this wonderful season together :)

Good food and even better company...

"Wassssssup Grandma?"

Sexy Hen

Serene organised a hen party for her good friend at Picotin. She requested cuppies similar to the ones I did for the Full Monty cast, but wanted to be very discreet about the naughty male bit so I made a fondant cover for it...

This is how it looks before.... fairly innocent...

.....

......."TRY ME" revealed a whip for the Hen.... and "EAT ME" revealed the Hard candy :) with their respective initials.

Each lingerie design was different and hand sculpted one by one with bows, frills and flowers.

Vijian...Surprise!

My brother Vijian is a gadget freak... so when I was planning his cake I had to include a Coleco Vision joystick... his first computer games console and an Apple logo to represent the past and the present.

Sitting on a first class seat to his dream destination eating his favourite food: steak and celebrating with some champers. I loved creating the blanket :)

As a kid, Vijian had a short temper so we used to call him "The Melting Hulk" ... his temper has definitely melted away now, but the name has stuck so I made a little comic book as part of his inflight entertainment.

A magnifying glass for Mr Perfect , Versace logo for a phase he went through :) and a Rod of Asclepius as he's a psychiatrist.

Happy 18th Varsha!

A cupcake bouquet surrounded by her favourite things, including a Forever 21 bag for her 18th.

Have a *8LAST*!

Jorim had a cool Laser Gun party by the park so I decided to create an army themed cake with camouflage and military details..

...complete with ammunition, machine gun and grenade.

I loved making the ammunition crates which were dummies. I used individual rubber alphabet stamps to imprint the wordings. The top tier was coconut, base was vanilla surrounded by chocolate cupcakes.

Rubber Duckies @ ManaMana

Rubber duckies for Reeqhan, an adorable one year old.

I used patisserie fondant and pipping gel to create the white foam...

Duckies in different costumes come to life at the bottom....

Really enjoyed doing the Queen's guard :)

An impressive bucket of gifts!

Proud Mum and party planner Asha....

And creative Aunty Rekha who made the yellow flower Duckie.

Re-configured the Little Dinos for his pre school party...and added party hats for them!
