A feathery affair

I have 2 left feet and wonky vocals, so have secretly wished to posses two talents...singing and dancing. But there isn't any shortage of those talents in this family. Mum is a classical indian dancer and singer as well.
Yes, that is a stethescope....Since she is a doctor by profession, I decided to place one on her neck to replace the usual gold accessories :) and it was fun trying to decide which pose I should sculpt.
The arms were tricky, insert a pliable wire into the arm and let it dry before you stick it onto the torso...then decorate her palm with 'henna' to complete the dancer's look.

Tale as old as time...

Gold, yellow and white was their theme, and Beauty and the Beast was the inspiration for this young couple's wedding cake.

My first time working with drapes...Thank you YouTube! :)

I find it much easier creating woman compared to men!! esp designing their dresses/gowns. Check out the peek-a-boo lace details underneath.

Hungry anyone?

Just a small selection on a food lovers tray....

Don't forget the chillipadi and kicap for the fishball noodle....

Make sure the satay is "well grilled" with charcoal bits on it! and yum yum dim sum...

Ta pau...ready to go!

Seeing red!

Still experimenting with flowers...this is a poppy like one....with green squiggles which adds a contrast to the colour.

Found this pretty box from Wilton.
