Used vermicelli for their whiskers.

Diwali

A peacock and terracotta 'valleke' for the Festival of Lights...forgot to take pictures when I first made 80 of them but luckily these were the last 2 left!

Dengue :(

Sorry for the long hiatus....was attacked by aedes mozzies and was down with dengue fever! But am fighting fit now...and will have more cakeART creations next week!

This was a busy week with so many figurines to make so am on a much needed break this weekend.
This is a fictional cakeART volcano scene from StarWars where Obi-Wan Kenobi duals Darth Maul while R2D2 cowers in the middle with flowing lava making a mosiac on the ground.
I used piping gel for Darth Maul's cape and boots to give it a mean shine. To be honest, I wanted to place R2D2 some where else but Obi-Wan's hand kept falling due to gravity & humidity (raining so heavily) so had to make him rest his light saber on R2D2's head!

One mermaid sunning on a rock while the other enjoys the sea....featuring little red crab again, he's fun to do!

For my darling niece...details like her pleated hair and henna on her hands, complete the look!

Cupcakes for the singing doctor who is specialising in O&G hence the stethescope & fetoscope, baby, mike, musical notes & iPod. Then added shoes, handbags, cocktail and finally her little angel Diya.
